On the Muv-Luv localization and Kickstarter: there's no need to assume that Sekai will be involved with the translation, because the Degica guys running the project said that they want to start from the existing fan translation by Amaterasu. In fact, on the Alternative Projects podcast (see https://aaltomies.wordpress.com/category/podcast/), one of them said he'd met with Ixrec in person in London to discuss terms. So, fingers crossed that works out.

2. In the VN->Anime list, we can't blame Funimation for turning "Kimi ga Nozomu Eien" into "Rumbling Hearts", because that's actually the name of the all-ages PS2 version, and the title of the OP song by Minami Kuribayashi. Arguably, âge has always wanted "Rumbling Hearts" as the English title. Also, the anime is great, and Alternative Projects just announced they're going to do a fan translation of the VN (several groups have tried and failed over the years, so let's hope AP finally succeeds).
Oh, and I'm doing an updated version of my History of âge panel (called "Rumbling Luv Maniax") at Anime Weekend Atlanta in September, which will have lots more about Muv-Luv and the Kickstarter, which should be underway by then.
