In other words, it's practically an interactive anime.
It's fully voiced including all the male characters. Even some really miscellaneous characters are voiced.
There are a handful of games just likes this one. 0verflow also released School Days (HQ) which is getting a US release soon. School Days is technically a sequel to Shiny (or Summer) Days. Cross Days is a side story for School Days and was also made by 0verflow. Another company that makes fully animated games is Jellyfish. (http://vndb.org/p287) All their games are fully animated and their animation is top notch. Unfortunately it takes them years to make a new game. There were also some other animated VNs in the past. All the stuff by Erogos (http://vndb.org/p351)is mostly animated. Even older stuff is from Sogna (http://vndb.org/p461) as well as Scoop (http://vndb.org/p363). That's almost all the games and VNs that are at least mostly animated. There are probably other as well. People are currently anticipating Otome Function (http://www.getchu.com/soft.phtml?id=504825) which is probably going to be the next fully animated game to come out, but it probably won't be out until late this year or next year.
Thanks for the questions.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04459758491066020542noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5939049911919175626.post-54434997532201905742012-05-28T20:15:29.728-04:002012-05-28T20:15:29.728-04:00Maybe next year :PMaybe next year :PAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04459758491066020542noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5939049911919175626.post-49022898660161723002012-05-28T18:33:03.966-04:002012-05-28T18:33:03.966-04:00Heard your review of Shiny Days and then proceeded...Heard your review of Shiny Days and then proceeded to watch a youtube demo clip. Wow, this is the first time i've seen a visual novel such as this. Since you've played it, could you tell me if the entirety of the game is animated like an actual anime? And is it fully voice-casted (including male)? Also do you know of any other VN/eroge company that haved used a similar style in the past?

..Sorry for barrage of questions, but it's because i could totally start getting into this type of eroge genre. As you never know that it could one day develop into an 'anime heavy rain' genre...or something.skinned_beaver1noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5939049911919175626.post-91674633403076736022012-05-26T04:45:11.265-04:002012-05-26T04:45:11.265-04:00Definitely get your little 'a over for AX!
